The IPLEX^™ G Lite-W videoscope from Evident Corp. combines portability with powerful imaging features in a small, ergonomic form factor for turbine gearbox inspections.

Users can visually inspect the inside of a wind turbine gearbox without disassembling. A sealed tip keeps oil out, and capillary action for channels on the oil-clearing tip adaptor help keep images clear. Its optics balance the need to see areas of the wind turbine gearbox up close, such as bearings and gear teeth, with spotting defects in large spaces and a compact size. An optional LED guide tube offers ample illumination to spot defects in large, dark spaces while the semiflexible guide tube makes it easy to position the videoscope to capture images.
