VCSEL array
Princeton Optronics Inc.Request Info
Princeton Optronics Inc. has released a high-power, thermally stable, backreflection-immune 1064-nm semiconductor laser based on 2-D planar vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) technology. Suitable for medical applications, the PO-CS1-40-W1064 laser provides 40 W of output power in CW mode, a spectral width of ~0.8 nm, a thermally stable emission wavelength of 0.06 nm/K and a numerical aperture of ~0.14. It can be operated in quasi-CW or short-pulsed (<20 ns) modes. One variation of the array, consisting of single-mode devices, can be used for frequency doubling, and another, with microlenses mounted on it, offers a beam divergence of 2°.
