TRUMPF’s 100G VSCEL features 850 nm multimode 100 G datacom and can operate in temperatures up to 85 ºC, making it suitable for use in 800G SR8 and 400G SR4 AOCs and transceivers, including linear pluggable optics. The VCSEL functions in substrate thicknesses of 150 µm and 200 µm. The 100G VSCEL can be used within data centers in AI/machine learning, high-performance computing, and other bandwidth-intensive applications for stable and reliable data transmission at high speeds.
