The WC2X2C40L6-325 and WC2X2C40L9-340-V1 from Violumas are UV LEDs made for biological applications such as biological analysis, spectroscopy, and sensing. Producing wavelengths of 325 nm and 340 nm, respectively, the LEDs come in 2×2 modules in a chip-on-board format and have a LT70 of greater than 6000 hours. With four chips encapsulated under the same lens with a specially developed index boosting solution, the modules feature a 10.2% wall-plug efficiency at 340 nm and 3% wall-plug efficiency at 325 nm.
