The Flashbond® UV-8601R UV cure adhesive from epoxySet Inc. is a medium viscosity acrylated urethane designed for high-stress applications.
Creating a flexible bond that resists tearing, the clear polymer bonds to glass, metals, ceramics, and most engineered plastics. It features a shore A hardness of 70 that can be cured in 5 s with an LED light source between 365 and 405 nm at an intensity of 250 mW/cm2. It is an encapsulation and sealant for electronics and other moisture sensitive components, as it can be cured in depths up to 3 mm. Offering environmental protection in operating temperatures up to 150 °C, the adhesive can be used in temperature cycling applications when low stress is required.
