UVC Radiometer
Gigahertz-Optik Inc.Request Info
The X1-1-UV-3727 handheld radiometer from Gigahertz Optik provides a real-time display of irradiance or dose and includes a peak-hold function.
The device may also be operated via its USB interface with optional S-X1 software. The UV-3727 detector can measure 222-nm excimer lamps, which are used in germicidal applications. Additionally, it enables the measurement of other UV-C germicidal source types including low-pressure mercury lamps and UV LEDs. The UV-3727 detector incorporates a photodiode that has extended deep-UV responsivity. Selectable calibration factors for common UV LED wavelengths and low-pressure mercury lamps are included. To properly measure irradiance, the detector’s entrance optic is a diffuser with a cosine field of view, which is positioned in the desired plane of measurement.
The diffuser and photodiode are pre-aged to significantly reduce solarization effects that results from long term exposure to UV radiation. The radiometer provides a linear measurement range up to at least 1000 mW/cm² with a resolution of 0.002 µW/cm².
