The line of 235 nm and 255 nm UVC LEDs from Marktech Optoelectronics can be used in both germicidal UV solutions and chemical and material sensing. The LEDs, housed in flat and dome lens SMD and TO-cans packages, are lightweight and consume minimal power. The nature of the 235-nm line makes it so unintentional exposure only results in short-term redness and eye irritation. The UVC product lines also feature a life expectancy of 9000 and 18,000 hours, no IR or heat emission, and instantaneous operation.
