The OG0TC from OMNIVISION is a backside illuminated (BSI) global shutter image sensor for eye and face tracking in AR, VR, and mixed reality consumer headsets and glasses. The 2.2-µm sensor is primarily made for inward-facing tracking cameras and is pin-to-pin compatible with previous-generation BSI global image sensors. The OG0TC offers a 400 × 400 resolution in a 1/14.46-in. optical format and features quantum efficiency at the 940-nm wavelength, a high modulation transfer function, and support for a flexible interface including MIPI with multi-drop.
