Thermal Imaging Sensor
ULISRequest Info
A new thermal imaging sensor from Ulis uses less power at standard frame rates than similar products, making it suitable for integration into cameras for security night vision, as well as nature observation and hunting.
Operating at less than 130 mW with a 60-Hz frame rate, the Pico640 Gen2 uses Hync/VSync clocking and an I2C standard communication protocol compatible with commercial camera standards.
The VGA-format, 17-mu;m sensor has predictable behavior over varying operating temperatures, making it easy to calibrate, even in shutterless mode.
With >300,000 pixels, the sensor allows users to capture minute details up to several hundred meters away. The product offers frame rates from 30 to 120 Hz, generating fluid, unblurred images.
The noise equivalent differential (NEDT) temperature parameter enables a longer detection range and crisper images.
