The XIR-1800 Thermal Camera System from Xiris Automation Inc. is designed for additive manufacturing and critical metal joining processes.
The XIR-1800 provides enhanced imaging of key weld zones such as the melt pool, deposited material, and surrounding base material. Capturing real-time, thermally calibrated temperature measurements from 350 to 1800 °C, the XIR-1800 helps improve in-process control and quality assurance for fabricators. Manufacturers can capture images and clearly see the melt pool even in harsh environments of smoke, fumes, and spatter.
The XIR-1800 is easy to integrate into existing processes and connects with Xiris’ WeldStudio™ software suite. Multiple Xiris weld cameras and peripherals such as weld microphones can be used together for data synchronization, capture, and analysis.
