The SMARC SOM from Tessolve in collaboration with Renesas is an AI-powered computer vision, 360° surround view system on module (SOM) for industrial, robotics, and transportation applications. Using Renesas’ RZ/V2H MPU incorporating four Arm® Cortex®-A55 CPU cores, the module has a dedicated AI accelerator capable of eight TOPS/dense and 80 TOPS/sparse, runs on Yocto Linux, and supports up to 16-GB low power DDR4 RAM and up to 64-GB flash. Additionally, the SMARC SOM features high-speed interfaces including PCIe®, USB 3.2, SDIO, MIPI CSI, MIPI DSI, and Gigabit Ethernet.
