The Apex® X-1 from AFL is a compact sealed dome splice closure for use by network operators and installers for small network and rural FTTx deployments. The splice enclosure can support 144 single fibers, 432 mass fusion with standard ribbon, or 864 SpiderWeb Ribbon®. The Apex X-1 also features a wedge system with a press-to-release lever mechanism for cable entry, enabling individual cable sealing for future additions without disturbing existing connections.
