The AKD2G 24A servo drive from Kollmorgen Corp. is designed for precision multi-axis servo systems.
Over its predecessors, the drive offers upgraded safety features, SD card backup, and a graphical display with higher amperage to support applications with higher power requirements like conveyors and vertical lifting. It provides 3× the continuous current rating during peak operation for up to 5 s for intermittent-use, high-power servo motors. The drive offers configurable options for safety level, input-output feedback, and fieldbus, supporting secondary brake and faster Smart Feedback Adapter wiring.
