The FSM-IMX678 sensor module from FRAMOS GmbH features the Sony IMX678 CMOS image sensor and can be used for testing and validation solutions in medicine, microscopy, augmented reality, security, smart city, low-light industry, automatic guided vehicle, and logistical drone applications.
The 8.4-MP image sensor features a 2-µm pixel size built on Sony’s STARVIS 2™ technology. The IMX678 offers improved high dynamic range, with better low light and NIR performance than its predecessor, the IMX334. The new 1/1.8-in. sensor's optical format is compatible with M12/S-mount lenses and delivers smooth 4K/60 fps via a MIPI CSI-2/D-PHY interface.
