The SWIR LED chip series from DOWA Electronics Materials Co., Ltd. are short wavelength infrared LED chips that can be applied to agriculture/food analysis, drug discovery, and health care. With a peak wavelength range of 1200 to 1900 nm, the chips can achieve a 170-mW output power with a 1-mm square chip at 1350 nm and 45 mW at 1900 nm. In addition to the 350-µm square and 1-mm square chip sizes, the SWIR-LED series come in a 250-µm square version.
