LEUVEN, Belgium, Feb. 10, 2015 — Made for laser spot detection and tracking of hot, fast-moving objects, Xenics’ new high-speed shortwave-infrared (SWIR) camera, Cheetah-640CL, offers noncontact thermography up to 20000 °C.
The camera covers the spectral band from 0.9 to 1.7 μm and offers a high pixel resolution of 640 × 512 at 20 μm pixel pitch at full-frame rates of 120 or 400 Hz. Data transfer is by 12-bit CameraLink.
Fully software-configurable, the camera combines the thermoelectrically cooled InGaAs focal-plane array detector head with all control and communications circuitry in a forced air-cooled compact housing.
