SWIR Hyperspectral Camera. Courtesy of Specim.The Specim SX25 is a SWIR hyperspectral camera for accurate chemical analysis and identification of materials. The camera can be used for coating layer inspection, mineral and ore classification, food quality inspection, agricultural and pharmaceutical research, and cultural heritage conservation. The Specim SX25 operates within the 960 - 2500 nm range and offers 640 spatial pixels and up to 392 selectable spectral bands, for an 8-nm spectral resolution. The design includes multiple lens options and an adjustable working distance for a customizable field of view and resolution for applications ranging from wide area scanning to detailed macro analysis. Unified spectral calibration ensures consistent and repeatable results across multiple systems, useful in multisystem setups and large-scale operations.
