With an expanded zoom ratio of 12.7× and enhanced ease of operation, the SMZ1270 and SMZ800N stereo microscopes from Nikon Instruments offer chromatic aberration correction for brighter, sharper images across a large field of view.

The microscopes are paired with newly developed WF objectives and offer refined performance over basic parallel-optics stereo models. The devices also incorporate a lineup of accessories to support a variety of uses, including applications in the biological, medical and industrial fields.

Newly developed Plan Apo WF and ED plan widefield objectives compensate for chromatic aberrations over three wavelengths. Ideal for documentation with the latest large-format digital cameras, the microscopes improve chromatic aberration correction to ensure bright images without color fringe throughout the whole field of view.
