SCHLIEREN, Switzerland, Feb. 1, 2024 — Exalos SLEDsExalos has released three superluminescent LEDs (SLEDs) for interferometry, fiber sensing and fiber component testing, and biomedical imaging. The red broadband SLEDs have a wavelength range at 633 nm, 638 nm, and 680 nm and are available as 14 pin BTF modules. The high-power ultra-broadband SLEDs have center wavelengths at 1550 nm and 1600 nm with an optical power of 15 mW or 20 mW and an ultra-broad 3-dB bandwidth of more than 100 nm. The 740 - 940 nm combined SLEDs are standard 14 pin BTF modules that deliver a 3-dB and 10-dB optical bandwidth of 165 nm and 190 nm, respectively, with a typical ex-fiber output power of 15 mW.
