The SFT-03X chipset from Luminus Devices is a red-green-blue (RGB) LED for industrial and consumer applications such as AR wearable displays, companion projectors for smartphones, screenless displays, and factory automation. Comprising of individual red-amber, converted green, and blue LED emitters with high color saturation, the chipset can be embedded in various host devices and deliver a projected image ranging from 12 in. to 20 in. depending on ambient lighting conditions. The SFT-03X LEDs feature a light emission size of 0.345 sq mm, a 3.0 mm × 3.0 mm form factor per emitter, a typical brightness of 50 lm at an electrical power of three-watts, and scalability of up to 100 lm typical brightness at higher input power.
