The IK-TU51 from Toshiba Imaging Systems is a three-chip, 10-bit digital signal-processing camera for machine vision, microscopy and broadcast applications. Features include interchangeable 1/2- and 1/3-in. remote heads, standard RGB analog output, autoexposure and freeze-frame functions, one- or two-pulse triggers, and a six-vector color-enhancement circuit. The camera achieves electronic shutter speeds of up to 1/50,000 s, a signal-to-noise ratio of 64 dB and 800-TV-line resolution. It does not require a frame grabber. The company says that Exwave HAD CCD technology provides 2-lx sensitivity for detecting faint signals and reducing smear.
