The HP60A-15KW-GD-QBH power detector series from Gentec Electro-Optics Inc. is designed for the measurement of fiber lasers with powers of up to 15 kW.
Users can measure average laser power for burn-in tests during long periods of time or even quickly in the field with simple connection of a fiber laser output directly to the detector. The models are calibrated to NIST standards and have damage thresholds up to 80 kW/cm2. The series generates zero back reflection to the environment and negligible back reflections to the fiber output connected to the detector, due to the gold cone absorber design.
