The Gecko-45-HSS from Precision Laser Scanning is a polygon laser scanner with a 4.5-mm aperture.
With a linear scan speed of up to 12 KHz combined with a 20° scan angle, the device is ideal for many biomedical applications including ophthalmology, microscopy, point source light sheets, laser induced fluorescence imaging, particle image velocimetry, and more. It provides compact integration of the polygon mirror, a precision scanning motor, and highly efficient controller for a small footprint and low power consumption.
The Gecko-45-HSS uses an aerodynamic air bearing to avoid optical fog from lubricants, with no bearing wear when running.
