Balluff Inc. has expanded its BOS R254K photoelectric sensor line through four photoelectric sensors with condition monitoring capabilities.
The sensors are designed for demanding applications in the food industry and packaging sector, where aggressive media and high-pressure cleaning are common. They hold Ecolab certification and carry IP67 and IP69K ratings, ensuring resistance to harsh conditions.
The BOS02C2, BOS02C3, and BOS02C4 diffuse sensors provide background suppression while the BOS02C0 retroreflective sensor provides a polarizing filter. They offer self-monitoring and real-time environmental data through IO-Link. Data includes temperature, humidity, vibration, inclination, contamination, and function reserve.
