Surface-Mount Silicon and Indium Gallium Arsenide Photodetectors from Advanced Photonix are designed for high-speed response applications.
The surface-mount devices are assembled in compact, water-clear PIN, APD, PSD, and 1206 packaging, and available in Cut Tape, Tape Box, Tape and Reel, or custom reel quantities. The optical sensors can be used for automated surface mount assembly and solder reflow mounts on printed circuit boards and ceramic substrates. They are used in security, medical, and communications imaging sensing applications, industrial controls, optical switches, optical counters, industrial sensing, light management, and handheld devices.
