Lapmaster International's new premixed slurries are available in two
configurations for optical materials processing applications. Type A is
a ready-to-use oil- or water-based mixture with a standard concentration
of 16 oz of abrasive to 1 gal of vehicle. Type B, which requires the company's
pumping system, is a fully suspended gelatinous oil- or water-based concentrate.
Both types come as either aluminum oxide or silicon carbide combinations
in 12.5-, 17.5-, 20- and 22.5-µm sizes.
