The 50G PON OLT SFP56 from Source Photonics is a 50 G PON optical transceiver for communications applications. The transceiver uses optoelectronic chip technology with demonstration to support downstream optical bandwidth of up to 50 G NRZ signals and upstream optical/electrical interface line rates of up to 25 G burst reception. The 50G PON OLT SFP56 features small SFP packaging and an optical budget designed to cover or be compatible with existing ODN networks.
