A line of photonic crystal fibers that includes endlessly single-mode, hollow-core, polarization-preserving and photonic-bandgap types, as well as fiber with highly nonlinear performance, is manufactured by Crystal Fibre A/S and available from Newport Corp. Also offered are 1-m-long bare fibers, fibers with sealed ends and connectorized types. These prepackaged products are suitable for laboratory research. Five series of fibers are available, each with different cladding, coating, core and mode-field diameters, and all with a single-layer-acrylate buffer coating.
