Hamamatsu CorporationRequest Info
Suitable for low-light-level-detection applications, including fluorescence spectrophotometers and immunoassays and SO2 monitoring, Hamamatsu Corp.'s R7517 is a nine-stage photomultiplier tube with a bialkali photocathode and a 28-mm-diameter UV glass window. It covers the spectral response range from 185 to 760 nm, has a minimum effective area of 8 × 24 mm and weighs 45 g. Peak quantum efficiency is 40% at 220 nm; typical cathode luminous sensitivity is 160 µA/lm; and typical cathode radiant sensitivity is 105 mA/W. Other specifications include anode sensitivity at 1000 V, 50-nA dark current and 1.2-ns transit time spread.
