Control Development Inc. has developed a photodiode-array-based spectrograph
on a PC card. Featuring rugged, miniature sealed optics with fiber optic
input, this instrument is suitable for use in the laboratory or in on-line
factory applications. Permanent wavelength calibration is stored in on-board
memory, and spectral coverage is available from 220 to 1100 nm. The system
uses a 16-bit A/D that takes complete spectra measurements in 6 ms. Software
for Windows-based systems is included.
