For Telecom Battery Backup, Outdoor Kiosks and Displays
CHESTERFIELD, MO., July 27, 2009 – Laird Technologies Inc. has announced the introduction of its newly modified air-to-air outdoor thermoelectric cooler assemblies. The series was modified to expand its applications, particularly telecom battery backup systems, outdoor kiosks and displays, and electronic systems integration enclosures that require cooling in harsh environments. Products in the series include the AA-100, AA-150 and AA-200 models. Laird_ThermoelectricCooling.jpg

The line includes custom designed thermoelectric modules that have a high coefficient of performance to minimize power consumption, and brand name fans with a high degree of environmental protection and with reliable solid-state operation that does not use a compressor or chlorofluorocarbon refrigerants.

The fans also offer waterproof connectors, high-density heat sinks with heavy duty anodization, overheat protection and double environmental seals to protect against outside contaminants. The gaskets, connectors and fans have an enclosure seal that is NEMA 4-rated. DC operation is available in either 24 or 48 VDC.
