The ORC-Micro from Menlo Systems is a compact optical reference cavity for applications such as laser cooling and thermal beam experiments. Provided via a Peltier element, the cavity’s temperature is able to be tuned and stabilized and comes with the option to include features such as fiber-coupling and Pound-Drever-Hall locking electronics. The ORC-Micro also features a free spectral range of 4 GHz, a finesse of >50 k, and single-color (1542 nm/1550 nm) optical reference options.
