The SS110 automatic specialty stripper and CT110 and CT111 automatic specialty cleavers from Fujikura were designed with versatility and ease of use in mind. The SS110 is applicable to a range of fiber sizes (including 125 μm cladding and 900 μm coating) and includes an RFID tag which enables the stripper to automatically select the most appropriate program for the fiber. Both the CT110 and CT111 cleavers are equipped with an automatic blade position changing mechanism and RFID wireless communication that reads the RFID tag attached to the newly designed fiber holder. The CT111 also boasts an angled-cleaving function between 0° and 15°.
