Ibsen Photonics has announced the Rock series industrial-grade, robust OEM spectrometers for the visible, short-wavelength near-infrared and near-infrared wavelength ranges. The instruments’ high optical throughput enables low-power sensing and fast spectral scans. The spectrometers use proprietary holographic fused silica transmission gratings that provide 50% to 100% higher diffraction efficiency and lower stray light than traditional spectrometer gratings, according to the company. The exclusive use of dielectrics in the optical path enables the spectrometers to be used in challenging environmental applications, including those at high temperatures.
