The SPA-100 O-Band Swept Photonics Analyzer from Santec leverages the sweeping range of a tunable laser to maintain a high resolution reflectometer (<6 µm). Previously only available in a CL band configuration, the product is suited for analyzing compact components such as photonic integrated circuits (PICs), fiber optic elements, and short cable assemblies. It features an ultra-wide WDL measurement with up to 90-nm scanning range, polarization-maintaining fiber, <70-dB dynamic range for WDL measurements, OFDR technology to sense the distance between the fiber probe and the wafer, and software to analyze areas of interest.
