The DCS520 switch from Edgecore Networks Corp. is designed to meet the needs of next-generation data center network architectures and cloud computing environments.
The device is equipped with the Broadcom Tomahawk 4 chipset with a 25.6-Tbps switching capacity and low-latency performance for service providers, cloud operators, and data center interconnect use cases in metro environments. With its high density of 64 400-G ports, the DCS520 provides flexible and high-efficiency data processing for large amounts of data. It also supports up to 16 400-G ZR or ZR+ coherent optics with up to 24 W of power/port.
