Hamamatsu Corp. has developed two multichannel detector heads that can be combined with InGaAs linear image sensors for complete image detection capability for NIR spectroscopy, radiation thermometry, nondestructive inspection and optical fiber transmittance measurements. The C7251 is for uncooled InGaAs linear image sensors, and the C7221 is for the TE-cooled variety. Both have a low-noise driver/amplifier circuit for operation from simple external signals. The spectral response range is 0.9 to 1.7 µm.
