AdlOptica GmbH has announced the foXXus multifocus optics for material processing.
By splitting laser energy and focusing in multiple foci, the foXXus is designed for micromachining applications such as the cutting of glass and sapphire using ultrashort pulse lasers. Redistributing of laser energy along optical axis results in higher productivity and improved quality of material processing.
The device operates with both TEM00 and multimode lasers at various wavelengths.
