Basler AG has added four 6- and 20-MP models to its line of MED ace cameras.
The USB 3.0 cameras with Sony’s 6-MP IMX178 and 20-MP IMX183 are available in both color and monochrome versions. They offer the Dust Protection MED Feature Set, which ensures that the cameras fulfill specific cleanliness standards. They are produced, sold, and serviced according to ISO 13485:2016 standards. The 6-MP cameras are designed for price-sensitive applications that also meet high demands for performance and quality.
The IMX178 and IMX183 CMOS sensors achieve 59 and 17 fps, respectively. Both sensors feature high-quality rolling shutter, backside illumination technology, sensor binning, and focus indicator features. They are designed for medical and life sciences applications.
