The SPARK M150 MWIR camera from Telops Scientific has been announced by SphereOptics GmbH for general-purpose thermography applications.
The scientific, entry-level device provides a broad detection range from 1.5 to 5.4 µm for InSb detection, high spatial resolution of 640 × 480 pixels for VGA format, and high temporal resolution with frame rates from 220 to 4000 Hz. With permanent radiometric calibration, the measurements benefit from an implemented automatic exposure control to exploit the full dynamic range offered by the detector.
