The GVCM-095-064-01 Linear Servo Actuator from Moticont is a compact solution that merges high-precision with high-force capabilities.
Zero cogging ensures smooth operation, high-speed performance, rapid acceleration and deceleration, and precision accuracy. When utilized in a closed servo loop, it maintains reliable repeatability. The actuator features a precision ground 0.1572 +/- 0.0003-in. diameter shaft guided by a linear bearing when extended, spanning a length of 2.5 in. The shaft can handle a side load of up to 2 lbs and offers a travel distance of 1.5 in. It delivers a high-force-to-size ratio with 24.4 lbs of continuous force and 77.1 lbs of peak force at a 10% duty cycle. Applications include assembly, clamping, work holding, medical devices, optical focusing, antenna positioning, shutters and doors, testing, slide actuators, valve actuation, and wafer handling.
