Basler has enhanced its 2k and 4k racer line-scan cameras with models offering resolutions of 6k, 8k and 12k. Available with either a Gigabit Ethernet or Camera Link interface, the cameras provide line rates of up to 80 kHz.

Highly sensitive CMOS technology provides high-quality images, low noise characteristics and a quantum efficiency of about 60%.

With low power consumption of the CMOS sensors and an innovative heat-dissipation concept, the cameras stay cooler.

The cameras are lightweight and measure 56 mm × 62 mm for easy integration. Their compact size makes it possible to install several cameras very close to each other, resulting in a high spatial resolution of the inspected object in the camera image.

Applications include inspection of continuous materials including for web, flat panel display and solar.
