Exail’s low Vπ LiNbO3 phase modulator was designed for high-power laser applications. Dedicated for coherent beam combination and spectral beam combination, the modulator offers high stability over time, temperature, and vibration, while minimizing power consumption due to its low Vπ (up to 16 GHz). The low Vπ LiNbO3 phase modulator can handle up to 300 mW optical input at 1060 nm, has an insertion loss of <3 dB, and utilizes a DC coupling option that mitigates RAM effect for efficiency.
