The TruMicro Mark 1020 from TRUMPF is a ultrashort pulse laser marking system for medical, microprocessing, and line production applications. Utilizing short pulses, operators can mark components and minimize heat generation through a process known as black marking which forms a nanostructure on the surface that captures light, resulting in a deep black marking visible from every angle. The laser has a focus diameter of under 50 micrometers and can cut through materials such as metals, glass, ceramics, or plastics.
