Sobel Imaging Systems’ complete label inspection includes easy-to-use software for setting up desired label inspections, image acquisition, the controller, and operator interface terminal — all in a compact design. Powered by a contact image sensor from Mitsubishi Electric, the system is much more compact than systems powered by traditional machine vision cameras. The CIS has lens, light, and image acquisition all integrated into a single small head. Because it operates at extremely short working distance, the solution is more easily implemented into existing labeling equipment/printers.
