LOW-SCATTER INFRARED LIGHT PIPES
Epner Technology Inc.Request Info
Light pipes coated with electrochemically deposited gold are suitable for use in gas spectrometers, infrared temperature measurement instruments and lasers, and oxygen, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide detection systems. The low-scatter infrared light pipes are coated using Epner Technology Inc.'s proprietary Laser Gold process. The pipes have polished inside diameters from 1 mm to more than 1 in., and lengths up to 2 ft. They can produce reflective efficiencies greater than 98% whether they are straight or curved when used in the near-infrared range. With the Laser Gold coating, the light pipes can be injection-molded in acrylonitrile butadiene styrene plastic rather than metal.
