An LED ring illuminator from Titan Tool Supply Inc. features a constant-current design to provide powerful, microscope-quality light output with no color shift when dimming. A typical incandescent bulb has a life of 200 h; the Model T-30 LED illuminator has a life of ~10,000 h. It includes 40 high-brightness LED lights set in a CAD-design, precision-aligned array. An integrated controller adjusts brightness from 10% to 100%.

A universal power source connector with a built-in transformer enables worldwide operation from 100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz.

Additional features include 360° shadow-free illumination; a three-point, soft-tipped secure mount to fit lenses from 32 to 66 mm in diameter; a 6500 K spectrum; and silent, no-vibration operation.

The illuminator measures 28 × 104 × 135 mm, with optimal working distances from 76 to 152 mm. A machined aluminum and molded plastic enclosure provides durability.
