The PhotoSyn™ high-power LED photoreactor from Uniqsis Ltd. enables synthetic chemists to scale-up their photochemistry reactions from mg to several kg/day.
The device provides scientists with a high-power LED light source in continuous flow applications. Using a pair of enclosed curved cooled LED arrays, it focuses light inwards onto a central coil reactor. Each array is composed of 360 individual LEDs that provide a high photon intensity to facilitate reactions in coil reactors up to 52 ml. The unit is available with different standard LED configurations including 365 and 455 nm, as well as a three-color option of green, white, and blue. Custom excitation wavelength versions also available.
