The PICOSCALE Interferometer from SmarAct GmbH provides precise, contact-free displacement measurements.
With low noise and high measurement resolution, the related sensor heads are connected to the main unit with optical fibers. They are compact and contain no electronics. Translations of meters with resolutions of picometers are possible, and high data rates and bandwidths enable the vibration analysis of small and fragile objects. The system features a data rate of up to 10 MHz.
The system is well suited for measurement tasks in vacuum applications, compact setups, and harsh environments like cryogenic temperatures.
