The LUMOS^™ II ILIM from Bruker Corporation is a quantum cascade laser-based infrared imaging microscope meant for applications such as capturing ultrafast infrared images of expansive areas with enhanced spatial resolution in pharma and life science research. Using a coherence reduction method for infrared laser imaging, the microscope is essentially free from artifacts in both transmission and reflection mode and includes a large field of view and complete automation capabilities for determining chemical complexity in biological tissues. The LUMOS^™ II ILIM features AI-powered data evaluation and can be integrated with the company’s MALDI Imaging methods to enable multimodal imaging for characterizing tissues with analytical depth.
